No need to be a model, I have lots of ways to help you feel comfortable and can guide you with how to stand and “pose” so that you don’t look or feel awkward. We will meet at Portage Park, and after a couple of minutes chatting to see what kind of look you want to achieve, we’ll get right into shooting. You'll know right away how the photos are turning out because I'll show them to you on the back of my camera as we go so we can make adjustments if needed. Not sure it can be done this quickly? Graduating from school at any age is a memorable moment and a big achievement. Preserve this special milestone with professional grad photos! Grad photo sessions can include you in your prom dress or photos in your regalia. Graduating from UVIC? We've got plenty of experience with graduation photoshoots at UVIC and can suggest some nice areas on the university grounds for your session. (Yes, we also do grad photos for other grads, not just @ UVIC!) You will get a variety of photos of yourself, as well as you and your family in this short-and-sweet time frame. Capture your family’s special moments in the beauty of autumn! This outdoor mini-session takes place in a park setting with vibrant fall leaves—perfect for those quick, heartfelt shots. This is my shortest and most affordable family session of the year. Please note, sessions are booked several in a day, so plan ahead to be on time. Sessions are scheduled 20 minutes apart, so any lateness will cut into your time, not the next family's. Take your Christmas memories to the next level! Your family will get to have a fun experience in the studio with our Christmas box and some props! We'll create a "menu" ahead of time so we know which people will go in which boxes (depends on how many people are in your family). With this couple's photography package, you'll get a short session, outside at a beautiful park in Victoria/Langford. (I can suggest some nice places!) This is a good amount of time for photos in one location, for couples wanting engagement shots, maternity portraits or just romantic couple portraits. (I have a longer session if you want multiple locations or more photos.) I'm not rigid on the time frame, but this is a shorter session for those that just want a few nice shots. If we can do that in 20 minutes, great! If it takes half an hour, that's great too. If we go longer, you may want to consider my Classic session.

This session is for those who want to get a variety of images for their online presence, social media, or corporate website. If you need a few variations of photos, or a few different backgrounds and/or clothing options, this might be the package for you. (If you just need one or two good photos, you might want to check out my 15-min headshot session instead.) If you’re looking for a natural-looking headshot, I can help you get it done without any big fuss. There are a variety of backgrounds there (trees, nature, water, rocks, and a plain white wall that can look similar to a studio background). Requests at other locations may incur a travel fee.

For your witch and wizard session we will focus on creating one magical image, and lots of fun candid images. Witches/wizards can have lightning bolts or cauldrons, or both! (The cauldron is real, but we don't actually make a fire or smoke. The effects are added afterward with Photoshop) This session can be done with just your child(ren) or with the whole family, or just adults. (Great for a group of girlfriends!) It's super fun and the photos turn out really magical!

This is a short session ideal for couples, or small families just wanting a few really nice shots. If you think a full session is too long for your kiddos, then this might be perfect for you! In 20 to 25 minutes we can usually get a few posed traditional family photos plus several fun candid shots! I'll help you all pose for the traditional portrait, and once that's over with, you can just enjoy the time with your family as I shoot from a distance. These short sessions are offered at a specific date and location (a park in View Royal). If you wish to have a session at another location, please see my other packages. My editing style is lively and bright with natural colors

We'll capture a mix of candid, natural, and posed photos to ensure a relaxed and varied session. This session is for couples who want beautiful photographs and want to take more time to make sure there are lots of photos to choose from. It's also good if you want more than one backdrop for your images, or want to surprise your partner with a proposal! With this session, there are no image restrictions (you don't have to choose your favourites), you get them all!

Do you want to document this stage in your family's journey? With this package, you'll get a fun session, outside at your choice of suggested locations. My style is very different than traditional posed portraits. We take our time and let your kids play and interact with you while I capture candid photos. I never ask you to maintain a specific pose for more than a few seconds - though we will aim to get one "must-have" posed photo for your wall! I'll help you sit together in a comfortable manner and then you can just be yourselves and leave the rest up to me. If you love fine art and want to capture the love in your family, this might be the perfect session for you. I love creating art worthy of hanging above the fireplace! With you or your family as the subject matter, almost anything you can dream up can be created. My editing style is lively and bright, with natural-looking colors.

You'll get spontaneous and candid images of your family just being themselves. Because I'm just a quiet observer (no flash) you'll quickly and easily forget that I'm there. With a documentary session like this, you get to enjoy your family, just as they are, just being themselves. I know you have a zillion photos of your kids on your phone, but with this session, you'll get to BE IN THE PHOTOS with your kids... which your kids will treasure when they're older. They'll get to see mommy and daddy playing with them, cuddling them and just being with them during the day. Documentary photos are especially nostalgic because you'll have the memories of the places you actually spent the majority of your time in; your home and around your neighbourhood... not a special location that you went to once for a family portrait. This is something beautiful to pass on to them when they are older.

Come and enjoy an evening stroll through beautiful Beacon Hill Park! (Other parks available upon request) We'll walk around and pass by some amazing photo locations as we stop throughout the park for photos. This world-famous park is home to huge Sequoia trees and rich biodiversity of flora and fauna. In this relaxed session, we will get a few posed traditional photos plus lots of fun candid shots! I'll help you all pose for the traditional portrait, and once that's over with, you can just enjoy the time walking around the park as I shoot from a distance. Due to the nature of this session, it is for one immediate family (couples or parents and children) not for extended family groups or family reunions. It can be used on off-season dates for elopements or micro weddings. My editing style is lively and bright with natural-looking colors. ****I will respond quickly to your inquiry and can often accommodate short notice.****

As someone who chose a small beach wedding myself, I understand the magic of an intimate day. This package is designed to capture the entire, perfect story of your micro-wedding or elopement with elegance and intention. I purposefully leave time open after your session, ensuring a stress-free, unhurried experience where we can linger on a perfect moment or extend your coverage seamlessly on the day if we wish to. Please note: This package is not typically available on Saturdays during peak season (May to September), though exceptions may be possible if booked on short notice.
