About this package

Who am I? I absolutely love capturing people in love. I like the barefoot, hair blowing in the wind kind of vibes. Telling your love story through photographs is my kind of thing. I’m all about the real, raw, passionate moments. I find beauty in the uniqueness that is your love; the quirks, the goofiness, the sarcasm, the subtle tender moments -- they all tell your story! These are moments and memories you will have to relive and cherish forever. About This Package: Engagement + Couple sessions are my favourite (other than weddings of course!) because we can get adventurous and explore together! We can get to know each other and you can get a feel for my shooting style. Being engaged is such a fun part of the process and I think doing a shoot to commemorate this moment in time for you is super important! Want to get adventurous? We can head to the mountains, go for a hike, maybe go skating or canoeing. How about a heli-tour? Whatever adventure speaks to you, I'm there! 100%. After the shoot, you will receive 25 enhanced and edited digital high resolution images (with the option to purchase more) via online gallery within 21 days of your session. I try to get them done ASAP so you can admire your beautiful photos sooner.

What to expect

You're likely wondering how am I different from other photographers? First of all, and most importantly, I CARE. I care a lot. Photographs will be one of the few everlasting memories from your milestone day for years and years to come. I want nothing but happy tears and ear to ear smiles for you every time you relive those warm fuzzy memories. Adventuring with my couples is an absolute dream come true, and believe me when I say it is my pleasure!! Plus, I'll make you look real good, can't argue with that. Speaking of that, most people don't feel comfortable in front of the camera and I that is totally fine. Luckily, I will awkwardly charm the pants off of you (not literally!) so you feel comfortable. I will guide you into flattering positions and then prompt you to evoke genuine emotions. There will be cuddling, kissing, running, laughing, connection, reflection and a high chance of me saying strange things. The whole idea is for you two to be YOURSELVES; the best photos come from moments where you're truly enjoying yourselves. "We hired Cassie for our engagement and wedding photos. Cassie was amazing. Questions about this package

Where are you located?: I live in Calgary, Alberta but I mostly shoot in the Rockies as they are my backyard. I love to travel (I used to be a Flight Attendant) and adore that photography can take me anywhere around the world. I've travelled to 14 countries and counting. Where are we going next?!
What kind of equipment do you use?: I'm a Nikon gal! I shoot with two D750's with different lenses to cover a wide focal range.
Do I have to order prints through you?: You definitely do not have to, but I do recommend it. Included in my sessions are the high-res files as well as a print release. Having a physical wedding album from your day is a beautiful way to relive your memories, and to enjoy your pictures they way they're intended to be: in glorious print. I recommend professional printing shops always but especially for those larger art pieces to hang on your wall. It's a quality you can't dispute.
Do you have your photography mountain permits as well as insurance?: Yes, I do! All professional photographers are required to have the proper photography permits to shoot in the Provincial + National Parks, please ensure your photographer has them. These costs are paid for by me and are already factored into my pricing. I also am a legal business and therefore I am insured to ensure everyone is covered, just in case.
